The 9th Annual Course pour la Compassion was a heartwarming success! 💖
Thanks to our incredible participants, volunteers, and donors and sponsors, we surpassed our goal of $350,000 net and raised $390,000 net to benefit the Teresa Dellar Palliative Care Residence. Your generosity ensures that everyone in our community can access free, compassionate palliative care when they need it most.
From walking in memory to running in support, and sharing smiles in the Party Zone, every step taken at Valois Park made a difference. Heartfelt thanks. 💖

This is a fun run, so pick your distance of 1 km or 5 km. You can take your time, or set a new personal record, walk it, or jog it. Dogs are also welcome!

Your purchase of a $200 Memorial Sign is a meaningful way to remember your loved one, support the Residence, and contribute to the success of our event. You can view your Memorial Sign as you complete the Run/Walk route, in "Memory Lane".
Why does Nathan, a nurse at the Residence, run for Compassion?
"As a nurse I get to see a lot of patients nearing the end-of-life, and deal with their families as well. The Course is a chance to celebrate the Residence and all the work we do for patients and their families. It's a very humane place, and it feels like a celebration of humanity to participate in the run, especially when 100's of people are there, celebrating the cause. I can't think of a better way to spend a Saturday morning."
Celebrate Your Run/Walk in the Party Zone.
Once you have completed your Walk/Run, the fun continues in the Party Zone! Local merchants and sponsors will have complementary goodies for your enjoyment. This family-oriented space in Park Valois offers face-painting, frozen treats, coffee, and much more for kids of all ages!
